Introductory Concept
Do you clean and sterilize the manicure tools and equipment that you use in nail care services? Did you know that many clients visits their doctor because of bacterial and fungal infection of the feet and nails after going to their local nail salon. They pick up those microorganisms due to the equipment that were used on them while getting their manicure and pedicure service.
Considering that bacteria and fungi live all around us every day they are usually no big deal. However, when digging into the crevices of the toenails or after trimming down a corn/callus, microscopic tears in the skin occur.
As a result, any microorganism around can hop a free ride into our bodies and start multiplying causing a foot infection.
In this lesson we will talk about cleaning and maintaining our manicure tools and equipment.
