Nail Cleaning Procedure

Nail Cleaning Procedure
1. Sanitize the client’s hands using rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle.
2. Soak the client hand in a warm water in the finger bowl (not more than 3 minutes)
3. Cut the nails on the other hand according to the client requested nail shape.
Use a small nail clipper. Start cutting from the pinky. (pinky, ring, middle, index, thumb)
4. File the free edge- Use one direction only. (Start from the pinky)
5. Buff nail and free edge- This will help polish and shine the nails.
6. Apply cuticle remover using nail pusher. Push the cuticle to expose more nail.
7. Nip the excess cuticle- Start from the left going to the center, then from the right going to the
     center.
8. Retouch. Check the nails for sticking out cuticle or uneven free edge.
