Practicum: Plain Nail Polish Application

Checklist 1. The student is wearing PPE.Table was set up properly  2. The student has complete manicure tools. 3. The student used correct manicure tools. 4. The student used new and high quality nail polish. 5.The student held the clients hand properly 6.The students observed proper nail polish application. ( Side side center seal) 7. The student air dried the nails before applying the 2nd coat. 8. Excess nail polish was removed properly 9. The are no more excess or smudge nail polish around the nails. The nail polish was applied evenly. 10. Post service activity was properly done. Observed proper waste disposal and 5S's of uood housekeeping

Practicum: Paraffin Wax Treatment

Checklist 1. The student is wearing complete PPE  2. The complete materials were prepared before the practicum. 3. The student sanitized his hands and the client's hands. 4. The student washed the client's hands with soap and water. 5. The student scrubbed the client's hands properly. 6. The student washed/ rinsed the client's hands until water is clean and clear. 7. The student informed the client about the paraffin wax procedure. 8. The student let the client test the temperature or tge wax before emerging the client's gand into the heated wax. 9. The student assisted the client in soaking the client's hand 3 times. 10.The student covered the clients hands with plastic and mittens. 11. The student advised the client to wait for       10 minutes. 12. The student removed the mittens on time. 13. The student massaged the client's hand properly. 14. The student gave post service advice. 15. The student performed post service activity.

Practicum: Pushing back cuticles, brushing of nails and removing sticking out cuticles.
